We had to have a tree cut down today.  It broke my heart.  I have cried many tears.

 

 

 

Another tree has to be trimmed back.  That will be for another day.

The garden is bouncing back after last Sunday's hail storm.

Hail Damge to the Garden June 23

A storm came through this afternoon.  Even though in only lasted about 20 minutes it packed a punch.  We got marble sized hail and a 1/2 inch of rain. 

It wrecked havoc to the garden.  I'm not sure how well everything will bounce back.  I guess time will tell.

 

 

 

Garden Rock

When I first put in the garden I planted some old flower seeds.  For the most part the didn't come up so I decided to plant some new seeds today.  When hoeing the spot to plant them in I hit something hard.  It was this rock.  Keep in mind I only hoed down approx. 1/4 to 1/2 inch.  We just tilled this spot a month ago.  Where did this rock come from???
